St Matthew eAccounting - a breakthrough in easy bookkeeping and accounting.

March 10, 2006 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
3rd March 2006 - Double entry accounting, tax, VAT returns and payroll are a significant burden on small businesses, eating up time and money better spent on more productive activities. Help is at hand as St Matthew eAccounting (http://www.stmatthew.biz) has launched a web-based accounting service for SMEs which offers secure, easy to use, online book keeping and accounting at a competitive price (from 49 GBP month*).

Businesses simply upload, email, fax or “snail mail” copies of their paperwork (invoices, bank statements, receipts, etc.) to St Matthew, and then dump the originals in a box file and forget about them. All documents are processed within a couple of days, automatically stored as .pdf files - an important step towards the paperless office - and can be located and viewed easily online.

Once the paperwork is on the system, and has been processed by St Matthew’s book keepers and accountants, customers can view up to date figures about their accounts payable and receivable, running totals of their tax liabilities, and management reports to assist in running their business. This information can be accessed via their own secure website which can be logged into from anywhere at any time.

Michael Clarke, sales director at St Matthew eAccounting comments: “Let’s face it; maintaining company accounts can be a toilsome and distracting nuisance for small businesses.”

”Many businesses periodically deposit their paperwork in an accountant’s office. After a lengthy gestation period, their annual accounts emerge to surprise and not necessarily delight the company. Too late, it becomes apparent that funds which should have been set aside for tax liabilities have not been retained in full, cash flow is suffering because of poor credit control, or costs have sky rocketed. By using our service, entrepreneurs can free themselves of a large administrative overhead and focus on growing their business.”
