The Art of Self Promotion and Successful Marketing Communications Strategies for Consultants: Subject of the IMC Monthly Dinner Meeting scheduled for March 21st.

“The Art of Self Promotion and Successful Marketing Communications Strategies for Consultants” will be the title of a presentation by two prominent marketing and design professionals, Debra Valle and Peleg Top, at the March monthly dinner meeting of the Institute of Management Consultants’ (IMC) Southern California Chapter to be held on Tuesday, March 21, at the LAX Renaissance Hotel (9620 Airport Blvd.). A one hour afternoon session workshop will begin at 4:30 p.m. and the dinner meeting will commence at 6 p.m.

In the afternoon workshop, Debra and Peleg will discuss their evaluation of 4 consultants’ collateral packages submitted previously. Additionally, those who attend will receive insight on the elements of successful marketing of collateral materials, including brochures, one page fliers and business cards by consultants as well as a review and evaluation of current trends in presenting and marketing consulting practices.

During the evening dinner meeting, Ms. Valle and Top will share their ideas on the art of self promotion and compelling marketing and communications strategies specifically for consultants, to include the use of collateral materials, developing customer loyalty and generating visibility for consulting practices.

Ms. Valle is a highly respected national coach who has been engaged by senior level executives, entrepreneurs and professionals to improve and accelerate their leadership skills and business capabilities. A former Vice President of a direct marketing division of McCann Erickson, she has extensive experience in both a corporate and agency environment and has been responsible for brand positioning, strategic planning, advertising and direct marketing.

Top is the founder of Today Top Design, a Los Angeles design firm which is one of the nation’s most successful boutique studios specializing in the non profit and cause-related marketing arena. His clients have included Toyota, The Grammy Awards, The Grammy Foundation, City of Hope and the AIDS Healthcare Foundation. Previously he co-founded “Marketing Mentor,” an organization that teaches freelancers and independent consultants about promoting and marketing their work.
