Performance Management and Appraisal Discussion List Re-Launched at http://performance-appraisals.org/discussionlist.htm

Bacal & Associates is pleased to announce the re-opening of the Performance Management & Appraisal Discussion list. Its purpose is to help human resource professionals, executives, managers, and employees learn how to get real value from the performance management and appraisal process.

List owner, author, and noted performance management expert, Robert Bacal, explains the rationale.

"For years we've provided free material to help people succeed in the performance management and appraisal process at http://performance-appraisals.org. People still really need to be able to ask questions, and deal with detailed issues — to get help on these topics when they need it, and to hash out problems. That's what the list is for. To provide a place where help is available, and help can be offered."

He goes on to say: "Discussion lists these days have grown tiresome, and boring, so we're going to have fun with a sometimes dry topic. In January we plan on having an informal contest and book giveaway to find the five most silly examples of performance appraisal practice."
