As a kid Tony Puente dreamed of doing something great for his parents, but as of now has yet to realize that dream. It seems that time may be running out for him to accomplish his goal because his father recently had his fourth stroke this year and his doctors say that he may not survive another one. His mother was diagnosed with breast cancer a few years and although she is doing well now, the possibility of it’s return is something that the family lives with everyday. It was the simple idea of doing something great for his parents that was the basis for www.whatsmylifeworth.com. Tony decided to sell everything he owns with the exception of a few items; seven shirts - one for each day of the week, some star wars toys that he promised his nephew he could have, and a couple of DVD box sets. He would see what years of accumulating material possessions throughout his life would amount to, and see exactly what his life was worth, and use that money as a down payment on his parents dream house.
