Women Leaders Address Public Policy Issues
Local Women Business Leaders Hold Panel Answering Public Policy Questions

RALEIGH, N.C. – Raleigh women business leaders are scheduled to speak at the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) public policy panel on Wednesday, March 22 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Capital City Club in Raleigh. The meeting entitled “Everything You Always Wanted To Know About Public Policy But Were Afraid To Ask!” will focus on the importance of public policy matters for women business owners and give them information about getting involved in public policy. The panel members are Elaine Marshall, North Carolina secretary of state; Sheila Hale Ogle, CEO of MRPP, Inc. and Judy Smith, president of Smith Seal of North Carolina. Patty Briguglio, president of MMI Associates, Inc. will moderate the panel.

“Often women are reluctant to get involved in public policy because they think they do not know enough about the process or the subject matter,” said Briguglio. “This panel is comprised of extremely successful women and we are fortunate that they are willing to share their public policy knowledge and experience.”
