LaGrangeville, NY – The International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP) is pleased to announce that Filippo Passerini, Global Services Officer and CIO, Procter & Gamble and Paul Spence, Head of Global Outsourcing Services, Capgemini have been inducted into The Outsourcing Hall of Fame. The award ceremony took place at a luncheon sponsored by Fortune® Custom Projects at The 2006 Outsourcing World Summit® in Orlando, Florida on February 21st.

“The Outsourcing Hall of Fame recognizes outstanding professionals who have made significant impact to both business and society through their contributions to the management practice of outsourcing,” said Michael F. Corbett, Executive Director of the IAOP. “Filippo and Paul personify exactly what the Hall of Fame is all about, and on behalf of outsourcing professionals around the globe, IAOP is extremely proud to select them as members.”

Filippo Passerini leads P&G's most innovative business unit, Global Business Services, and serves as company CIO. Under his leadership, global business operations have undergone tremendous re-invention, delivering hundreds of millions of dollars in savings, vastly improved and streamlined services and business-changing innovations. His new outsourcing model ensured job security for impacted employees and transformed contracts into partnerships. "At P&G, we believe 'we're all in this together,' and have worked to ensure that outsourcing benefits not just the company, but also our employees, new partner companies and the communities in which we operate," said Passerini. "On behalf of my team, it is an honor to be inducted to The Outsourcing Hall of Fame."

Capgemini has seen its core group of outsourcing professionals grow to more than 15,000 worldwide as a result of the company's distinctive capabilities in transformation and innovation. “Although many factors have led to our growth, I believe a key contributor is the unique culture at Capgemini that promotes collaboration internally and with our clients, and truly fosters innovation,” said Spence. “It’s a great honor for Capgemini to be recognized by IAOP for our focus on business excellence through outsourcing.”
