SEO Philippines Founder Delivers Speech at SES China 2006

Marc Hil Macalua, founder of SEO Philippines, presented an “Advanced Link Building Strategies” seminar at the Search Engine Strategies Conference in Nanjing, China, March 20, 2006. Mr. Macalua joined other industry experts for the “Advanced Link Building Strategies” session, where presenters gave best practice examples of how companies are using link-based search engine optimization techniques to increase website traffic.

Attended by more than 400 local and international search engine marketing (SEM) professionals, it was the first time a Filipino speaker was invited to be a panelist for one of the industry’s biggest and most prestigious events.

“I was thrilled to be the first Filipino speaker in the history of SES,” said Macalua. “The SES shows are always well attended and they provide the best opportunities to learn search engine marketing direct from the experts.”

One of the most visible search engine marketing experts in the Southeast Asian region, Mr. Macalua was joined on the link building panel by Mike Grehan, CEO of Smart Interactive. Other speakers include Jack Ma, CEO of Yahoo! China/Alibaba and Johnny Chou, President for Sales and Business Development, Greater China for Google.
