Liberals Unite at T.E.A.M.

In much the same manner as NoSidesMag, T.E.A.M. contains articles, which are housed at the TEAM Blog. This allows everyone to comment and get a conversation going. In addition, Team is harnessing the power of the Internet with the use of Yahoo Groups to keep all members up to date and talking with one another.

TEAM has established some basic goals in a few different areas, but these goals will change as the missions change. At the current time, the main effort is geared towards protecting our right to separation of church and state, and gaining equal rights for all, with the current emphasize on gay rights. TEAM’s creator and web host, Ryan Kelly, has begun a lofty campaign to signup one million members. “There is power in numbers,” said Kelly. With FREE membership, any liberal that wishes to either participate or just stay up to date on the issues that affect our freedoms, should throw their hat in the ring and signup.

TEAM will also be working to assist liberal candidates in winning elections by actively promoting the Liberal vote with “Get Out The Vote” campaigns. These campaigns will take place on the Internet and door to door, neighbor to neighbor. With the announced attack on Liberals from the Christian Conservative Right, TEAM has setup a watchdog area at the website. “We must stop the current administration’s efforts to combine religion and government, and from destroying the rights of all Americans.” said Kelly. “Somewhere in the Capitol someone is plotting to take more rights away as I speak. If there was ever a time for Liberals to join together, it’s now.”

TEAM is currently seeking liberal writers that would like to donate their time to write a few articles for the TEAM website. Writers with a website will have a bio included with a link to their website. Group volunteers are also needed to moderate areas of conversation in Group Mail. “You have to start somewhere, Kelly said, the alternatives are bleak.”
