About the Author
Bridget Cox (née Dove) was born in Accra, Ghana, to Sierra Leonean parents and spent her formative years in both Ghana and Sierra Leone. She is a graduate of the City College of the City University of New York, where she earned a degree in English and Journalism.

While living in Washington, DC, she met and married the late George Cox, a Sierra Leonean diplomat and professor.

A mother of four and grandmother of five, Cox has traveled extensively and currently resides in the United States. She holds a deep love for her extended African family and treasures the special bond she shares with her sisters.

Reflecting on her journey, she sums up her outlook on life simply and sincerely: "I adore my life."
