NuVision Appoints Jeffrey D. Buchanan to Board of Directors

Buchanan has more than 23 years of experience in finance, law and business. He is a principal with Echo Advisors, a consulting firm specializing in finance, mergers and acquisitions, strategy and business issues. Buchanan’s experience also includes being the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Three-Five Systems, Inc., a predecessor company to Brillian Corporation [NASDAQ: BRLC], as well as a member of the Board of Directors of the United States Display Consortium (the USDC), where he was also its past Chairman. The USDC is a public/private partnership chartered with developing the flat panel display industry infrastructure and provides a neutral forum for flat panel manufacturers, developers, users, equipment and material suppliers to discuss industry development issues. Buchanan, who has a B.S. (accounting), a Juris Doctorate (law), and an LL.M (tax law), currently serves on two additional boards as the Audit Committee Chairman: Smith & Wesson, Inc. [AMEX: SWB] and Synaptics, Inc. [NASDAQ: SYNA].
