New Specialty Dist. House Creates Channel For Spanish Ed. & Cultural Toys

Miami, FL – (January 3, 2005) – To meet the needs of the largest and fastest growing minority in the U.S., Brand Marketing & Distribution LLC, has been established to provide a channel to children's product manufacturers for Spanish educational and cultural items to reach Hispanic communities nationwide.
The new company, based in Miami, Florida, is led by toy industry sales veteran, Ted Barbur, as a turnkey distribution point of service for manufacturers to deliver Spanish/English products and cultural products to retail outlets located in highly concentrated Hispanic areas.
Barbur explained, "We've founded Brand Marketing & Distribution as a solution to manufacturer's importing needs and as a new outlet for manufacturers and retailers to provide products to Spanish speaking communities. Being able to satisfy the need and demand of the Spanish speaking communities can dramatically impact the performance and success of businesses.'
Brand Marketing and Distribution has initially selected four categories of products for distribution. They are:

1. ELA (electronic learning aids) – with bilingual Spanish/English modes.
2. Puzzles - bilingual educational puzzles divided by age groups that are based on activities such as the alphabet, word games, spelling, science, and geography.
3. Dolls - Spanish dolls that maintain and identify the Spanish culture.
4. Books - traditional storybooks in English and Spanish.

According to Barbur, the new business is reaching a huge and expanding U.S. population.
With its minority population at over 38 million, Hispanics make up 13.4% of the U.S. population. Brand Marketing & Distribution will be catering to 3.2 Million Hispanic 3 to 10 year-old girls and 3.4 million Hispanic 3 to 10 year-old boys, most of which will become bilingual fluent in the two most common languages in the U.S.
