The Official Mr Bonx Website Releases New April Rant

April 04, 2006 (PRLEAP.COM) Entertainment News
For many years, musician and songwriter Andrew Trigwell has been writing and performing his own unique blend of loud rock music. But now, the real reason behind the “Mr Bonx” persona is to be laid bare in this month’s “rant”. His web site (http://www.mrbonx.com ) is updated once a month with a healthy and extremely saucy view of modern life, rock and roll and things that ‘get on one’s tits’.

The April rant explains, in detail, the metamorphosis that occurs when a gentle and mild mannered grafter swaps his shovel for a guitar, his magnolias for a Marshall and the general debauchery that is rock and roll.

As regular readers of these monthly updates know, you’re in for a shocking treat, and as the name implies, it is open to all forms of scurrilous interpretations and mass debate. For further details, pictures and more sordid tales from the bowels of Mr B’s imagination, visit www.mrbonx.com - the official web site of one of the UK’s most original entertainers.

Andrew began playing professionally at 16 with London-based jazz fusion band, Anerley Park. He then joined East Grinstead band Karma, gigging extensively during the 1980s. He later played with The Bullfrogs, a nine-piece blues band. He has since recorded 2 solo albums: The Rough with the Smooth (with sleeve notes written by Nick van Eede of Cutting Crew) in 2000, and Never Mind the Ballads in 2003 with 2 more albums yet to be released - Too Much Information (blasting rock) and Tracks of the Trade (funky rock). Mr Bonx’s plans for 2006/7 include his band back on the road and reaching as many people as possible with his unhinged blend of humour, loud rock music and downright honesty. His live act is certainly an experience, with influences unashamedly drawn from Frank Zappa and Alice Cooper. It is not just music – it is a bit of theatre too, and Mr Bonx is not just a rock musician – he’s a tangible character!
