ITpreneurs acquires Agilità: Providing content leadership in the Best Practices marketplace

ITpreneurs, the leading content company in the domain of IT best practice and IT governance frameworks, acquires Agilità effective April 2006.

This acquisition will strengthen ITpreneurs position as a global leader in content development and provision for the ITSM, IT Governance and IT security domains.

With the majority of the fortune 2000 companies using or planning to use ITIL, COBIT and IT best practices, the IT best practices training, consulting and software market place is expanding at a fierce pace. The IT Governance and IT Service Management sectors are growing, driven by

• Success for organizations that have been using the best practice frameworks to manage their governance and ITSM areas

In the new structure, the Agilità team will focus mostly on content/product development.

The deal also further strengthens ITpreneurs’ position in its largest market, North America.

ITpreneurs partners, both on the content development and the training delivery side, will benefit from the larger scale and ability to tap into the rich resources of the combined ITpreneurs/Agilità content portfolio. Delivery partners will also benefit from Agilità’s expertise in the area of implementing best practice solutions. One of Agilità’s key strengths is in the area of implementation solutions.
