Cincinnati, OH April 4, 2006 – Award winning syndicated columnist Rita Nader Heikenfeld announces the launch of AboutEating.com, a free recipe resource. The new web site features free recipes, cooking and gardening tips, cookware reviews, famous restaurant taste-a-likes, and entertaining ideas.

“After publishing thousands of recipes over the years, I thought it would be helpful for readers to be able to find cooking ideas on-line and all in one place” said Heikenfeld. “We’re launching www.AboutEating.com to help busy people find free recipes and creative menu ideas.”

Among AboutEating.com’s features are a searchable database of thousands of delicious recipes, dinner time staples, healthy versions of classics, sports nutrition for kids and adults (and seniors!), and the latest food trends — like cooking with herbs.

“My goal is to develop a destination for people who love food and entertaining. More than just free recipes, we’re also featuring kitchen tips, cookware and cookbook reviews and a community for friends to share their favorite foods. It’s not just about the food, but who shares it with you. You’ll find homespun wisdom woven throughout the entire site”.
