Ubitech and partner Radiocom S.A. are proud to announce that Aerocivil de Colombia has chosen to purchase the Ubitech InformAIR Pilot Briefing System. For Aerocivil, this is the second purchase of AIS equipment from Ubitech and Radiocom in the past year which underlines the level of satisfaction Aerocivil has in them as suppliers.
Ubitech InformAIR will provide Aerocivil with a web-based interface through which users can easily generate Pre-Flight Information Bulletins (PIBs) from a specific set of user-driven parameters. InformAIR is fully integrated with Aerocivil’s AIS database and generates consolidated bulletins of NOTAM and Meteorological data based on Aerodrome, FIR, or Route. Administrative functions such as the management of users, groups, rights, and predefined routes are easily controlled through the administrator interface.
Ubitech and Radiocom were first contracted by Aerocivil in early 2005 to provide the Ubitech InfoStore automated AIS database. The successful completion of this project has made Aerocivil’s AIS department the most advanced in South and Central America. Now with the purchase of the InformAIR Pilot Briefing System, Aerocivil will extend its AIS capabilities even further and solidify its role as a leader in the provision of aeronautical information services.
