Shoopa.com launches first online 63 character domain name advertising listing
(PRLEAP.COM) Sydney, Australia (April 6, 2006 – The longest possible registerable domains have now become a form of advertising at Shoopa.com. Shoopa is looking to create a unique advertising platform in the way of extremely long domain names – 63 characters, which is the maximum amount of characters that can be registered for a domain name. The unique site only lists 63 character domains, the domains then link back to the advertisers’ normal domain name or website.
Inspired by 63 character domain names as a form of advertising, founder and brain child Lam Rezk knew that he had a landmark business concept that would sell it self. Says Lam, “63 character domains provide a very unique and novel advertising platform something which is needed to generate word of mouth publicity.”
