DATELINE: HINGHAM AND NORWELL MA… Trying to troubleshoot your golf game? Learn how to better your golf swing and overall game through a series of six FREE Golf Symposiums and an optional 30-minutes of private golf analysis, which will be held at the Fore Seasons Golf Practice and Learning Center in Hingham, Mass.

Dr. Scott Chapman, DC, DABCO of Norwell Chiropractic Spine and Sports Rehabilitation in Norwell, Mass., has recently teamed up with Jim Mapother, PGA Professional at Fore Seasons Golf Practice and Learning Center in Hingham; Yael Friedmann, MA, LMT of The Bodywork Center in Hingham and Michael Sassorossi of The Fit Clubs Express in Hanover to offer a monthly Golf Symposium geared toward educating the golfing public to all sources that affect the flight of the golf ball.

The Golf Symposiums will be held from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the third Saturday of each month, from April 15th through September 15th. Golfers will enjoy special guest presenters and a different theme will be discussed each month, from full swing to short game and putting.

After the 90-minute symposium, golfers may take advantage of 30-minute private Swing and Ball Flight analysis from Jim Mapother and a physical assessment from Dr. Chapman. Dr. Chapman will assess golfers and provide basic training for balance, flexibility and stability in their golf swing, which ultimately helps to improve strength, athleticism, speed and stamina. Board Certified in orthopedics, Dr. Chapman has more than 15 years of experience treating athletes of many different sports. The half hour private sessions are by appointment only and must be booked prior to the start of the symposium.

Fore Seasons Practice and Learning Center offers year-round golf with 76 hitting bays and state-of-the-art technology, a grass tee area, short game range, two practice holes, full shot and green side bunker areas, target greens and upper deck.
