Trans Atlantic Systems gears up with its India strategy

Trans Atlantic Systems Inc (TAS), a leading provider of application services and products to Transaction processing and Communication companies in the US, announced the inauguration of its India office in Chennai.

The company’s Indian arm, TAS Infotech-a wholly subsidiary of TAS would cater to the application development requirements for its clients who have set-up operations in India and also companies that need services both in the US and in India.

Over the years, the company has observed that many of their clients are investing heavily in India and banking on India for a significant portion of their revenue.

Due to its local presence, TAS Infotech will solely concentrate on bagging contracts out of India by leveraging on its strong alliances in the US. “India has become a critical element in most of our Clients’ IT strategy,” says Madhu Ankarath, Chairman and CEO of Trans Atlantic Systems and CMD of TASInfotech.

As a company with strong roots and experience in India, TAS plans to leverage on its India center to enhance its US relationships to the next level.

“This center is in perfect alignment with the company's aggressive growth plans for this year,” says Kumar Markandan, Director for Indian operations at TAS Infotech. He adds, “We notice that very few companies provide services in both the continents as a business proposition.”

The plan is to chalk out companies who are making plans to expand into India and provide them a bag of services that will help them achieve this in a smooth manner. TAS is well-suited for this and expects the Indian operations to grow rapidly as well as contribute to overall client satisfaction.
