Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO) Announces 2006 Conference Workshops
WPO Conference Hosts Workplace Performance Workshop

NEW YORK – The Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO) 2006 Annual Conference will feature six advanced educational workshops including, “The Seven P’s - A Bridge to High Workplace Performance,” an interactive session covering the secrets to effective people management through the lens of human performance improvement. The conference encourages WPO members to share business strategies and experience with other successful women from all over North America, as well as learn from interactive seminars and speakers. The conference will be held at the Ritz Carlton in Chicago April 27-29.

Ellyn McKay, WPO facilitator and principal of Ellyn McKay and Associates, will lead the workshop. McKay provides organizational development, training and human resources expertise to entrepreneurial companies and nonprofit organizations throughout the Washington, D.C. area and specializes in working with women-owned businesses.

“The Seven P’s will focus on discovering how office culture, compensation, legal compliance and leadership issues can impact a business,” said Marsha Firestone, president of the WPO. “Attendees will learn how to identify the difference between business production and people problems, as well as policies and processes. The workshop will include a question and answer session where panelists are able to share their top five management tips.”
