Applied Knowledge Group Client Wins Gartner Award

At the recent Garter Portals, Content and Collaboration Summit, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Aircraft Evaluation Group (AEG) received a High-Performance Workplace Initiative Award. The FAA AEG project was selected because it demonstrated specific strategic initiatives, clearly defined objectives and it rapidly achieved high return on investment. Lynn Pierce, the driving force behind the FAA AEG worksite acknowledges “These worksites have unlimited potential and will continue to save time and money within our organization.”

Built on Microsoft’s SharePoint Services, the FAA’s AEG worksite initiative allowed the AEG to rapidly improve the process of airline equipment standards, making safety rulemaking a faster, more responsive process.
