FINAL CONCERT FOR THE 2005-06 SEASON TO FEATURE PIANIST AGLIKA ANGELOVA

As at home in chamber music ensembles as in the solo piano repertoire, Aglika Angelova brings both a world-class technique and a deeply embedded musicality to her playing. Born in Bulgaria and educated in Germany, Ms. Angelova came to the United States in 1997 where she joined the piano faculty of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. She is cofounder of the Jupiter Trio, one of the outstanding young chamber groups in the world today. Ms. Angelova currently serves on the piano and chamber music faculty of DePaul University School of Music in Chicago.

Saturday's program will include:

Trio in E Flat Major, Op. 12 J.N. Hummel

Trio on C Major, KV548 W.A. Mozart

Quintet for Piano And Strings, Op 57 D. Shostakovich

Joining Aglika Angelova in this program will be co-artistic directors, Robert Davidovici, violin and Carter Enyeart, cello. Other guest artists are TCU faculty members, Curt Thompson, violin and Misha Galaganov, viola.
