i1Films Meets with Association of Film Commissioners International (AFCI)
(PRLEAP.COM) Los Angeles / Beverly Hills - April 12, 2006 - Today, Julio Herzer, West Coast Representative, i1films, met with the Association of Film Commissioners International (AFCI) on behalf of i1films’ upcoming project, The Red Worm.
“A project of this caliber is one that requires a global perspective. We will have to shoot at locations around the world in order to do this film justice,” stated Herzer.
The Association of Film Commissioners International (AFCI) is the official professional organization for film commissioners who assist film, television and video production throughout the world. It is a non-profit educational association whose members serve as city, county, state, regional, provincial or national film commissioners for their respective governmental jurisdictions.
Recently the AFCI held a tradeshow, AFCI Locations 2006 Tradeshow, in Santa Monica, California, where film producers were paired up with film commissions from around the world.
“The AFCI will be a major ally in the production of The Red Worm. The on-location shoots that will need to be done are complex to coordinate, and right now our focus needs to be on making this film the greatest of all time,” remarked Herzer.
There are more than 300 AFCI-Member Film Commissions worldwide, covering almost every continent.
i1films is an affiliated project of the Imperiali Organization (www.imperiali.org) which has put together a diversified portfolio ranging public relations ( www.i1connect.com), internet search engine (www.i1search.com), movies (The Red Worm), video production (i1tv), design ( www.i1designs.com), publishing (i1publishing), telecommunications (Imperiali Telecommunications), professional sports ( www.palmbeachimperials.com), public speaking (www.globalfavor.com), podcasting (i1podcast), as well as beverages (Imperiali Beverages).
The Red Worm is currently in discussion with major studio and production executives, and looks to be one of the signature films of the upcoming year.
