Embin Technologies launches Automatic Power Factor Controller
(PRLEAP.COM) · Power factor is the ratio between the kW and the kVA drawn by an electrical load where the kW is the actual load power and the kVA is the apparent load power.
· A poor power factor due to an inductive load can be improved by the addition of power factor correction system.
· EPF04/08/12 adjusts the number of capacitor banks to improve efficiency of the electrical system by taking into consideration the present inductive load and the targeted power factor. If the power factor is not within a preset target, the system starts energizing capacitor banks until the desired power factor is reached.
