About the Manhattan ADD Support Group:

The Manhattan Adult ADD Support Group has run support sessions for adults with Attention Deficit Disorder — or, more formally, Attention-Deficit /Hyperactivity Disorder — since 1991. We're a public, walk-in support group led by ADD adults.
We meet monthly — usually the first Thursday of the month, sometimes the second Thursday — at one of two locations on the Upper West Side. At these meetings, we're joined by adults who either have been diagnosed with ADD, or who are thinking about whether ADD might, for them, serve as an accurate diagnosis. People come for different reasons. Some find that to encounter others like them is to feel less isolated. Others value the chance to discuss their experiences in ways that are often off-limits in every day conversation. Many come to learn more, or to share knowledge and insights.

In July and August, we're purely a discussion group. In other months, we sponsor presentations, by sponsor presentations, by knowledgeable professionals, about ADD-related issues. Please click here for our current schedule. MAADDSG has no formal membership, no registration, and no admission charge. (We do accept donations, however.) Apart from meetings, we compile information about resources available in New York City and elsewhere, which we disseminate by phone, fax and email.
