Avenue You Teams Up with JLMC to Raise Funds for Community Programs
(PRLEAP.COM) Avenue You, where it is always all about you! (www.aveyou.com) participated in the first annual JLMC (Junior League of Monmouth County) Spring Market 2006, a charity event which took place at Sun Eagles Country Club, Eatontown, NJ. Approximately $38,000 in funds were raised, which will benefit the community programs of the JLMC, including Superstars Literacy, the League’s effort to promote literacy and education to students and their parents in a comprehensive after-school program consisting of reading support, homework assistance and social enrichment activities. Avenue You Beauty Store teamed up with 47 other local and distant merchants to successfully promote the two-day event, which will be held annually. This event was open to the public on Saturday April 1 and Sunday April 2, 2006. Avenue You supplied a great selection of top selling products for shoppers to choose from during this event. Their selection of retail products included: T3 Appliances, OPI, GoSmile, DevaCurl, Blinc Cosmetics, Paul Brown Hawaii, Zeno, Nails Alive, and Celebrity Lips. "We wanted to offer a top selection of products we know work, and products we know people want," said President and CEO Brian J. Esposito. "Avenue You believes strongly in participating in community events such as the Spring Market. Making this event a success was very important to Avenue You and it appears with the help of the JLMC, the vendors that participated, and the supporting shoppers we were able to do so," continued Brian. "It was a great opportunity to support a meaningful cause, meet people from our local community, and educate shoppers on the product lines we stand behind," said Rudy F. Falco, head of the salon division of Salon Professional Services, parent company of Avenue You.
