Michael Petersen of Adams Communications attains CTP certification

Adams Communications of Carver, Mass., providers of sophisticated and agile telephone systems and technology has recently announced that Michael Petersen has attained certification as a Convergence Technology Professional (CTP).

Mr. Petersen, a Senior Technician at Adams Communications, has recently been certified as a Convergence Technology Professional (CTP). CTP certification is a requirement for many manufacturers’ product specific training in convergence technology, which is the integration of telecommunications and computer technologies. The CTP exam is advanced and designed to certify those with professional-level knowledge. A minimum of five years experience and knowledge of six major domain areas within networking, telecommunications and technology is required.

After attending a week-long course and taking the timed, comprehensive CTP test, Mr. Petersen has acquired CTP certification and professional level status. Mr. Petersen has 20 years experience in the industry and is certified in Toshiba and Samsung product technology.

He is a native of Whitman and resident of East Bridgewater, Mass.
