CARIN FALCONER OF CompUSA, INC. APPOINTED TO CABA BOARD OF DIRECTORS

CABA is a nonprofit industry association that provides research, information, education, and networking to help promote advanced technologies for the automation of homes and buildings in North America.

"This is a great appointment for the Continental Automated Buildings Association," said Ronald J. Zimmer, President & CEO of CABA. "Ms. Falconer' s experience in the retail sector and knowledge of residential systems will be a great asset for our organization."

Falconer currently serves as the Vice President of Technology Services for CompUSA. She is responsible for two business units, the Technology Assurance Program and Technology Services. The Technology Assurance Program is CompUSA's extended warranty plan ensures that once a customer purchases an item, the product is protected beyond the manufacturer's warranty. The Technology Services unit offers customers in-store and on-site technical support for all their computer needs including installations, connectivity, security/protection, repairs and technical advice.

"CABA is a great organization and is second to none in gathering and distilling relevant industry information to its constituents," stated Falconer. "I am pleased to join the CABA Board of Directors and look forward to actively participate and contribute in making the Association stronger."

Falconer began her career with CompUSA in 1995 and has held various positions including Regional Manager, where she played an integral role in leading Region 3 to "Region of the Year - 2003". In addition she previously held the positions of Retail Manager and General Manager.
