With this release of the popular ACE toolkit, Riverace enables developers to target current applications to today’s leading-edge platforms without an ACE version upgrade. ACE 5.4e adds support for the following new computing platforms:
- AIX 5L(TM) version 5.3 using IBM XL C++ V7
- HP-UX 11iv2 on PA-RISC using HP aC++
- HP-UX 11iv2 on Integrity using HP aC++
- The Solaris(TM) 10 Operating System (OS) on SPARC® using Sun Studio 10
- The Solaris 10 OS on x64 using Sun Studio 10
- All current platforms using GNU g++ 3.4.x
