Massive new adventure sports website launches in the UK!
(PRLEAP.COM) Ochosports (www.ochosports.com) aims to develop the most incredible adventure sports information resource and shop the world has ever seen, to support the industry and to help develop emerging and fringe sports. The idea behind the site was for a group of people who were already heavily involved in these sports to act as "experts", sharing knowledge and opinion with others - creating a brand that people can trust.
Currently Ochosports has 30 sports covered (14 launched, 16 behind the scenes), with 30 top sports people writing each site as you read this.
Sports currently covered include BMX Racing, Canoeing, Freeriding, Freeskiing, Inline Hockey, Kite Buggying, Kite Landboarding, Kiting, Korfball, Mountain Boarding, Rock Climbing, Shoe Golf, Snowboarding, Surfing and Wakeboarding.
In addition to this they have new sports starting the long process of preparing their pages all the time, with the aim to get to 60 by the end of 2006. Each one of these sports will be backed up by a complete range of top quality equipment and kit in the ochoshop.
So, what is special about Ochosports? Simon Pollock, MD of Ochosports said, "These days ocho is staffed by some amazing specialists in their fields, but finding these experts hasn’t been easy. Each expert has taken approximately 3 - 6 months to find as we didn’t want any Tom, Dick or Harry giving advice to first timers or seasoned pros.
What this means is that this is a site created and maintained by people who know what they are talking about, and that the site will be full of usefull information, news and product reviews - all produced by people who are really interested in what they do."
