It is an honor to be opening a conference where heavyweights of digital ink technology—including IBM, Lenovo, Electravaya, and Logitech—are working with Mi-Co to bring a first class experience to the Mi-Forms user community.”

Among the major activities at the two day event include a keynote address by Dr. Krishna Nathan, the top services executive in IBM Research and an expert in handwriting recognition technology. In addition, the latest digital ink technology from digital pen manufacturer Logitech and a number of key Tablet PC manufacturers will be on display.

Current implementations of digital ink and mobile data capture solutions will be presented by a number of organizations converting handwriting into electronic form to increase data capture efficiency. These user presentations will include representatives of home health agencies, hospitals and governmental entities.

Dr. Greg Clary, Mi-Co Co-Founder and formerly a member of the IBM team at the T.J. Watson Research Center that worked on innovative handwriting recognition and pen input systems in the 1990s will close the first day of presentations by giving a glimpse into the future of digital ink technology.
