Kaminski Auctions will hold its Spring Fine Art & Antiques Auction Sunday April 30, 2006.

Please join Kaminski Auctions for a Spectacular Spring Auction featuring Fine Art, Antiques and Decorative Accessories. Kaminski Auctions has been commissioned to sell the contents of the historic Josiah Bridge estate in Wayland, MA. Bridge was a Revolutionary War deacon. Session I will include artwork from the estate, and Session II will feature a fine selection of furniture and decorative accessories from the estate.

Session I:

For your pleasure, we have compiled a large assortment of Fine American and European paintings and sculpture from the 18th, 19th & 20th Century. A few of the highlights will include, an Albert Pinkham Ryder, o/c, 'Misty Moonlight'; a Frank A. Bicknell, o/c, 'The Wharf: Island of Monhegan'; a William Bradford, o/c, 'Arctic Sunset'; a Hugo Robus, o/c, Nude Bathers. Other works of note will include paintings by Evert Pieters, Howard Everett Smith, Enoch Wood Perry, Jan Monchablon, Theresa Bernstein, Ken Knowles, and Charles Woodbury; drawings by Charles C. Curran, Howard Pyle and Charles Gibson; watercolors by James David Smillie and Alfred Gunnar Bjareby.

Session II:

18th, 19th, & 20th Century furniture and decorative accessories from the Josiah Bridge estate will include a signed Handel chipped ice reverse-painted table lamp, an 18th Century German secretaire, a large signed Rookwood vase with an oriental design, and a signed E. Villanis Art Nouveau bronze plaque of nudes. Additional highlights of this sale will be a matched pair of Hampshire Pottery vases, a 19th Century English burlwood desk caddy marked 'Tiffany & Co., NY' with provenance, bronze sculptures, sterling, porcelain, pottery, and oriental carpets.
