Rubric and Toshiba - New Processes for a New Millennium

April 27, 2006 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
London, Boston, San Jose, San Francisco – April 27, 2006 – Rubric will explain how honed process and advanced tools help Toshiba keep ahead of their competition in highly competitive global markets.

“In order to deliver ‘a better localization experience’ to our clients, we have to invest in R&D to reduce the effort involved in localizing their products," said Ian Henderson, CEO of Rubric.

Rubric's Senior Project Manager, Susannah Eccles, will review the process changes and tools used to localize Toshiba documents into 18 different languages and to ship products on schedule around the globe.

"Toshiba's aggressive schedules are demanding," said Eccles. "Working with Toshiba, we identified new business and localization processes, and have leveraged a broader array of localization tools, including Idiom's WorldServer. These process refinements created new value, and reduced localization costs for both Rubric and Toshiba."

Rubric, a global provider of localization, translation, and language services, serves companies that have run headfirst into this changing world of multinational communications.

Eccles will present the Toshiba case study during the Idiom WorldSummit. The session will be held Wednesday, May 3rd, 2006 starting at 10:30.
