RFID Journal Live, Las Vegas, (PRLEAP) NV - May 3, 2006 - RSI ID Technologies (RSI), a manufacturer and systems integrator of standards-based, turnkey solutions and tags for RFID, data collection and product marking, announced today the launch of its iTrack™ product line which offers the first finished, Gen 2 label for under 10 cents. RSI will be showing samples of the iTrack™ labels at the RFID Journal Live Show in Las Vegas, booth # 227, from May 1-3.

The new label, made specifically for tracking products at the item-level, leverages Gen 2 UHF technology and works on historically challenging items such as unique packaging designs, liquids and on metallic products. “Our new Gen 2 iTrack™ label will help spur the adoption of item-level tracking by offering an affordable, finished label, directly to the end-user,” said Wolf Bielas, CEO of RSI ID Technologies. “Due to our recent installation of a leading edge, high-speed production line, we are able to take a leadership position in the evolution of finished RFID labels and further our global distribution initiative.”

RSI’s investment in an additional high speed vertical manufacturing line expands their current capacity, and compliments their existing state-of-the-art integrated manufacturing capabilities. The addition of this new equipment allows RSI to continue to scale production to meet customers growing demand, for not only case and pallet tags, but also for item-level RFID tags.

According to Tawnya Clark, VP, Sales and Marketing at RSI, “The industry is demanding lower cost finished Gen 2 tags, and we’re responding. We’re proud to be first–to-market with this innovative label, further verifying our commitment made last fall to help our customers, and the industry, reach the goal of 100% adoption of Gen 2 standards.”
