Sy Smith completes video for first single ‘Fa Sho’

(PRLEAP.COM) (LOS ANGELES, CA) - Sy Smith has recently completed her first music video for the single “Fa Sho” from her critically acclaimed album The Syberspace Social. The video was directed by Mike Quain. The concept is Sy’s own.

Set in Syberspace, a club unconfined for the socially refined—a place where the cool come to allow the humidity to get in their hair and let loose, the video captures the atmosphere, energy and magic of a glamorous Smith live in concert – complete with audience participation, Smith’s reputation for spontaneity, and the feel-good vibe that fans and critics alike describe after attending one of her shows. The video is a performance piece featuring special cameo appearances by the kings and queens of the Los Angeles independent soul music movement — Rahsaan Patterson, N’Dambi, Frank McComb, James Poyser, and Kenya Hathaway partying with a sophisticated set of true music lovers—not too glossy, not too gully. Smith gets completely immersed on the dance floor, the crowd goes in a frenzy and screams for more. Smith in all her soul glory, this is why they came, Fa Sho.’
