Montgomery County, PA – Aging with Grace, the Montgomery County eldercare referral and placement business, recently announced that it was selected as Joint Council 53’s preferred provider for geriatric care services.

Patricia Grace, owner of Aging with Grace, is pleased to bring her services to the members of Joint Council 53.

“Educating employees on eldercare options and geriatric issues not only gives them a better understanding of the process, but it enables them to overcome the guilt and stress they may be carrying,” Patricia Grace, certified senior advisor said.

Reducing the stress that is often associated with eldercare issues will enable businesses to make gains in the areas of productivity and reduce levels of absenteeism.

The Montgomery County firm educates individuals about eldercare issues, facilitates placement and coordinates services. It provides families with one-stop shopping for assessment, care coordination, referrals, placement, and liaison services.

According to Council President Frank Gillen, the union recognized the growing need to provide its members with a local resource they can turn to for answers.

“We are confident that this relationship will be a great value-added benefit to pass on to our members,” Gillen said.

The staff at Aging with Grace pride themselves in being able to give union members individualized service in order to gain an understanding of their personal needs before offering information and referrals.

“We do not take a ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach,” Grace stated. “We consult with the family members and take into consideration their psycho-social and clinical needs, financial concerns and geographical desires.”
