7Search Tweaks Contextual Advertising with AccessoryAds™

January 20, 2005 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
Leading pay per click search engine 7Search.com has entered the contextual ad market with its latest PPC ad offering dubbed AccessoryAds (www.AccessoryAd.com). The program has currently been in a Beta test with a select group of advertisers and partners.

Similar to Google and Overture's program, AccessoryAds enables advertisers to bid to appear directly on 7Search.com's network of affiliate sites but tweaks the popular ad serving methodology with its category-style approach.

AccessoryAds enables online advertisers to bid to appear within a specific category of 7Search's partner sites. "It's the equivalent of TV advertising online. An advertiser can choose where the category where it appears and customize the ad to a specific audience,' said 7Search spokesman Pete Prestipino. "The program helps advertisers avoid the semantic assumptions made by similar advertising services,' continued Pete Prestipino.

7Search AccessoryAds™ advertisers select their category of business and the categories of websites where they want their advertisement to appear. Advertisers then bid for positions within each network category.
