MAVERIC SYSTEMS ENTERS INTO AGREEMENT WITH LIBA FOR AN EXECUTIVE MBA IN BANKING AND SOFTWARE TESTING

Chennai, May 14, 2006: Maveric Systems, one of India’s top three independent software testing companies with a strong focus in the banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) vertical, today announced its academic partnership with Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA) for a two-year Executive MBA in Banking and Software Testing. This unique course has been designed to equip engineering graduates with cutting edge knowledge and practical experience in software testing. In order to ensure high quality input, Maveric has decided to give scholarship to the selected students. The course commences on 10th July 2006 and upon successful completion, the students will be absorbed into Maveric Systems.

The curriculum has been formulated keeping in mind the specific challenges of the software testing industry. The two-year programme is divided into a classroom-centric first year and the second year would focus on intensive project execution internship at Maveric Systems. The emphasis would be on banking and financial services operations knowledge, testing methodologies, test automation and project management. Taught by the experienced faculty and senior test managers of Maveric Systems, the students would benefit from teaching sessions that would seamlessly blend theory with practicalities.

Maveric Systems aims to take in a batch of 60 students. The application form can be downloaded from the Maveric Systems website (www.maveric.co.in) from 17th May 2006 onwards. The last date for submission of completed application forms is 10th June 2006. Students who apply would be screened through a written test conducted at Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad.
