The Camelot Learning Program provides a multi-sensory learning environment for students who need a different approach to learn essential skills and concepts in reading and math.
Teacher preparation time is minimal, with scripted lesson plans in a teacher guide, bound student workbooks, and pre-packaged manipulatives. Our tutorial kits are designed to hold everything a teacher needs to deliver engaging and effective teaching strategies in a non-computer setting.
For students, small group instruction encourages sharing, collaboration and interaction, in contrast to the structure of the school day. Daily lesson plans are delivered in the form of Learning Quests to excite and engage students who struggle with traditional methods of classroom work.
· Teaching materials are already prepared for ease of program delivery. Teachers do not have to purchase materials or gather other equipment or materials. It's all there! · Teacher resource packet includes all transparencies (Hundreds Chart, Fraction Clock, Congruent Shapes, Venn Diagram, Writing Organizers) and vocabulary cards. The Camelot Learning System has been selected all across the mid-Atlantic states for use in Title I, 21st Century Community Learning Center, and Charter School programming. In addition, more than 40 after school programs operated by the Open Door in Baltimore, Anne Arundel and Harford counties, including several private schools have exclusively used our program.Suggested Funding Sources: Title I, Title II, Title IVB, 21st Century Learning Centers, state and private funding. The Camelot Learning Program is approved as a Supplemental Educational Services provider under NCLB in several states.
