Carolina Crossroads Announces
Family-Friendly Additions To June 3 Concert
Outdoor Summer Concert In Roanoke Rapids Provides Family Fun Zone

ROANOKE RAPIDS, N.C. – Carolina Crossroads has announced the addition of a family fun zone to the Carolina Crossroads June 3 concert venue featuring multi-platinum country artists Big & Rich. The family fun zone will provide a variety of activities including a rock climbing wall, mechanical bull rides, and a NASCAR simulator. Water wars, a water bomb sling shot area, will provide an opportunity for fun and refreshing entertainment on a warm summer afternoon. The fun zone will also feature a children’s play area with numerous children’s inflatables. Clogging performances are scheduled throughout the day and a variety of food options will be available including specialty sandwiches, gyros, kielbasa, pizza and snacks of lemonade, funnel cakes and ice cream.

“We are delighted to add the family fun zone to our concert venue,” said Michael Dunlow, president of Carolina Crossroads. “Adding family-friendly activities allows Carolina Crossroads to provide not only a venue for great music, but also, a fantastic option for family entertainment.”

The June 3 concert is the first in a series of “Randy Parton and Carolina Crossroads Present” concerts leading up to the grand opening of The Randy Parton Theatre, which will feature a 35,000 square foot, 1,500-seat amphitheater.

Concert tickets are available for $35, $40 and $50 from www.carolinacrossroads.com, www.etix.com or by calling 1-800-514-ETIX. A list of local ticket outlets is available at www.carolinacrossroads.com.
