Allied Electronics Simplifies RoHS Compliance with New Packing Slip

(PRLEAP.COM) Fort Worth, Texas – With only a month away from the European Union RoHS deadline, Allied Electronics has announced that it has significantly improved its packing slip to simplify RoHS compliance for customers.

Allied will now indicate RoHS compliant information for each product listed on its packing slip. A product’s RoHS compliancy can be found in the Product Attributes section of the new packing slip. In addition, Allied’s packing slip includes manufacturer part number, customer part number (if available), product description and unit of measure.

Allied’s web site further eases customers concerns about finding RoHS compliant products. Customers can simply enter a part number and look for a RoHS icon to determine compliance. If the product is RoHS compliant, a green RoHS checkmark icon will be prominently displayed under the product image in the search results, as well as in the product notes on the product page. Products that are RoHS exempt feature an orange RoHS checkmark symbol.
