Fly High in the 2005 Great Reno Balloon Race for Free

(Reno-Nev.) The opportunity to win the 2004 annual amateur photo contest has been extended. Event organizers of the Great Reno Balloon Race have extended the deadline until March 1, 2005. The photographer to best capture the essence of the race in his or her photo will be awarded a free balloon sponsorship at the 2004 Great Reno Balloon Race (a $800 value). Second and third-place winners will also be chosen. In addition, the photo will be published in the official 2005 event program and possibly in other media, such as magazines and newspapers. A balloon sponsorship is the only way to get rides during the event.
Entry for each photo is $10 and photos must be at least 5'x7' or in the panoramic style. All photos must be color prints and taken during the 2004 Great Reno Balloon Race. In addition, no digitally-enhanced photos will be accepted. There is no limit to the number of photos a person can enter into the contest. The judges will gather to see the event through the eyes of amateur photographers in late April. Photos can be submitted to the Great Reno Balloon Race at P.O.
