Portland, OR — Pole Divas, LLC is proud to announce the official launch of their franchise program. Pole Divas began in Scottsdale, AZ in 2004 and grew to include lessons in Oregon and Washington.
Katherine Price, founder of Pole Divas, says "Pole Dancing has recently come out of the clubs and entered the suburbs. Women are realizing the strong health and fitness benefits of pole dancing. It's a fun way to exercise not only your body, but also your self-esteem".
Pole Divas decided to launch its franchise program when they were unable to keep up with the demand for their pole dancing lessons. They received over forty applications since announcing their franchise offering. Pole Divas is expecting to announce their first franchisees within the month.
Pole dancing recently gained media attention by portrayals on Oprah, The View, Hope & Faith, and Yes, Dear. Women realize that pole dancing provides a terrific cardio and toning workout, while also boosting self-esteem and confidence. Price says this is about making women feel stronger in body and soul, "Women learn how to dance for themselves, not a husband or significant other. The focus is purely on empowerment and having fun."
The company is dedicated to not only empowering women attending the party, but also in the community. A portion of all party proceeds are donated to local women’s charities. Price herself is an active board member to several women’s charities.
