Transoft Solutions announces new office in Australia

Establishment of location will expand company's
global presence and strengthen position in the region

Transoft Solutions, developers of engineering design products including AutoTURN, the world-renowned vehicle turn simulation software, have announced the opening of its first Australian office. This dedicated office, located in the city of Bronte, ensures the company will be better able to meet the demands of its growing list of Australian, New Zealand and Asian Pacific clients.

Milton Carrasco, President and CEO of Transoft Solutions, announced the news at the beginning of this month at Transoft's headquarters in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada. Mr. Carrasco said, "We took a careful look at our position as an international company and the call to have a new location to better accommodate our clients in this part of the world was there." Mr. Carrasco continued, "As all major companies know, the need to reach out and service different markets globally is extremely crucial for overall success. Therefore, we are pleased to increase our presence in Australia with our new office. Our software is already used in dozens of countries around the world, and now we can focus on making greater forays into this area. The opening of this office is a sign of Transoft's commitment to the region which is becoming an increasingly important one for us."

After 10 years of servicing the Australia and New Zealand customers, local agent, John Gill, is seeking new challenges. Mr. Gill will now be taking an active role in Transoft's continued expansion into China. As such, Peter McIntyre becomes Business Manager of Transoft Solutions (Australia) Pty. Mr. McIntyre holds many years of experience in CAD technologies with previously held sales and marketing management positions with SingTelOptus, BellSouth Shanghai and Autodesk Australia. His possession of knowledge in the industry was an essential factor in his selection for the role in managing the Australian office.

Mr. McIntyre commented, "We owe a great debt of gratitude to John for his dedication and service to our customers over the years. I now look forward to carry on with the accomplishments he started." He concluded, "2006 is shaping up to be a record year for Transoft in Asia Pacific and I plan to continue and help with the overall growth. With great new productivity enhancing tools such as AeroTURN (airside design software), and new versions of AutoTURN and ParkCAD (parking facility design software), we have a huge untapped potential in this region."
