(PRLEAP.COM) Papillion Nebraska-June 6, 2006: United by the desire to make life better for all Nebraskans, Democrats from across Nebraska will be coming to show support at the Sarpy County Convention on Wednesday, June 7, 2006. Area registered Sarpy County Democrats are encouraged to attend this event which starts at 5:00 p.m. at the Papillion-La Vista High School located at 420 East Centennial Road in Papillion Nebraska.

“We will be electing delegates to attend the State convention,” states Sarpy County Democratic Chair Burke Summers. “Amongst other agenda items, attendees will have the benefit of meeting and exchanging ideas with Nebraska Democrats such as Maxine Moul (1st District Congress Candidate), Jim Esch (2nd District Congress Candidate), David Hahn (Candidate for Governor), Steve Achelpohl (State Chair), and Barry Rubin (Executive Director).”

Nebraska counties are working hard to strengthen the statewide grassroots network to help Nebraska Democrats on the ballot in 2006.
