(PRLEAP.COM) City of Industry, CA — AXIOMTEK, a world-leading designer and manufacturer of industrial computer solutions, has announced the eBOX748-FL, a rugged embedded system with fanless system reliability, low-power consumption, and an onboard high performance Intel® Pentium® M 1.4 GHz processor or an onboard low power Intel® Celeron® 600MHz processor. The eBOX748-FL can also function in critical environments with an internal hard disk in almost any industrial application, including POS, Kiosk, ATM, DSA, building automation, project screens for department stores, supermarkets, tour bus displays, and more.

This eBOX has full feature I/O’s including four COM ports, four USB 2.0 ports, one Fast Ethernet port, a VGA connector, LPT port, PS/2 port, and CompactFlash slot. Additionally, a Mini PCI slot is reserved for expansion and can be used for Wireless LAN. An anti-vibration 2.5” HDD drive bay and one optional DVI port (thru a Mini PCI module, the AX93210, for Dual Display) is also readily available. The rugged platform can be bundled with Microsoft® Windows® or Embedded Linux family-based Operating Systems to form an all-in-one AXIOMTEK solution
