Xtreme Paintball is now on MySpace.

(PRLEAP.COM) Dayton, OH - Xtreme Paintball, one of the world’s largest online suppliers of extreme sporting equipment, is proud to announce that it has joined the MySpace.com community. Xtreme Paintball’s MySpace friends may view and comment on blogs about new paintball product releases, and they are the first to know about new products being listed on www.xpaintball.biz. MySpace-only contests run occasionally, and the picture section gives friends a look at the personalities of the people behind the scenes at Xtreme Paintball.

Stephen Estep, junior marketing guru, comments: “Throughout Xtreme’s years in business, we have provided the web’s best in prices, inventory and customer service. We joined MySpace to give our friends and customers a ‘watering hole’ for information about new products and services. The first day we had the MySpace account open, we posted a bulletin about a special where customers could buy a paintball hopper, which feeds the paintballs into the paintball gun, with a charger and batteries for one low price. Within minutes, a MySpace friend left a comment that he had to be the first to buy one. From a business point of view it’s exciting to us to see advertising work so quickly. From a personal point of view it’s even more exciting to know that we were able to satisfy a customer’s needs by means slightly more intimate than him merely visiting our online store.”

Currently, people can leave comments on a blog, volunteering a caption for a picture. The person who writes the funniest caption will win an Xtreme Paintball t-shirt. Other blogs include new paintball product releases, including a Memorial Day-Weekend MySpace only sneak peek at Kingman’s (www.kingman.com) much-anticipated Spyder MR3 paintball gun. Another blog featured a few jokes that had been circulating around Xtreme lately (a man with two left feet walks into a shoe store and says, “Do you have any flip-flips?”).

Xtreme Paintball has proven again that it is the leader among online paintball retailers, not only in marketing but in social networking. Estep also said, “We want to counter some of the negative press that online social networks have garnered lately. Xtreme Paintball believes the internet in general and websites like www.myspace.com in particular can be positive places for everybody.”

Xtreme Paintball’s online store is located at www.xpaintball.biz.
Xtreme Paintball’s MySpace is located at www.myspace.com/xpaintball_dot_biz.
