Adams Appointed SDGA Marketing and Admissions Director

Patty Adams has been named Director of Marketing and Admissions for the San Diego Golf Academy.
Ms. Adams was previously Student Affairs Director for SDGA. She joined SDGA in 2001 as a Marketing Coordinator, and was promoted in 2005 to Student Affairs Director where she took on the additional responsibilities of admissions for all five SDGA locations.

Ms. Adams is a graduate of Cal State San Bernardino, with a B.A. in Communications. She went on to earn her Master's degree in Educational Management in 2001, and is currently pursuing an MBA with an emphasis in Marketing.

Having worked in sales and marketing for almost 17 years, Ms. Adams has extensive experience in all aspects of marketing and admissions. In the last six years, Ms. Adams has focused her professional interests in the postsecondary educational sector, focusing specifically on marketing and admissions development for career colleges, and is actively involved in several educational and marketing associations.
Headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, San Diego Golf Academy (SDGA), a division of Virginia College, is a two-year accredited golf school, preparing students for successful careers in the golf industry for 30 years. San Diego Golf Academy is the oldest and largest golf school in the world. There are currently five San Diego Golf Academy campuses: San Diego, California; Orlando, Florida; Phoenix, Arizona; Honolulu, Hawaii; and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

The San Diego Golf Academy's Associate of Applied/Occupational Business Degree Program is a 16-month program and is comprised of a combined curriculum of golf instruction and business management. The curriculum is designed to provide graduates with the golf education required to manage, or assist in the management of, all golf complex operations, including the competence to teach golf techniques. Golf Academy scheduling allows for serious study of the golf business as well as the golf game.
