Practical Lesson Plans: Creating and Sharing Converge

June 22, 2006 (PRLEAP.COM) Education News
Teachers are now able to share lesson plans as they create them. Lesson Data (www.lessondata.com) allows teachers to create and share lesson plans in a single action. Published lesson plans are often too difficult and time-consuming to implement. There is a need for teachers to have access to practical lesson plans. By giving teachers the ability to share authentic lessons effortlessly, a repository of practical lesson plans is being created.

Teachers use a full-featured editor to create their lessons. The level of sharing is chosen at the time the lesson is created. Teachers may choose to share a lesson with credit given to them or they may choose to share anonymously. Lessons may be kept private as well.

Teachers are able to search for lessons based on grade, subject, author, or keyword. Lessons can be imported into a teacher’s lesson plans quickly which enables teachers to create weekly lesson plans in a much shorter amount of time than was previously possible.
