Bishop Anderson continues to bring help to thousands of people around the world

Bishop Willie Lee Anderson, Jr. is the Chairman of the worldwide Christian ministry—the Pentecostal Methodist Evangelical World Missions Board (PMEWMB), an organization that is connected with over 2000 churches in North America, Asia, India, and Africa. He is also the Pastor of New Bethel Community Church of Hayward, California.

Recognized by Ebony Magazine as one of the thirty young leaders of tomorrow, Bishop Anderson has studied Church Leadership and Economic Development at Harvard Divinity School and received his Doctorate of Ministry Degree from Sacramento Theological Seminary.

Known throughout the Bay area as an out-of-the-box thinker, Anderson is an accomplished and popular community activist. He has walked over 100 miles to support local youth programs and has organized activities for disadvantaged children. Anderson served several years as the organizing Director of Motivating African American Youth for Success, a community development program for challenged youth. In addition, he has received many notable local and national honors for his community efforts.

Bishop Anderson’s latest project involves the partnership between PMEWMB and Nestle—a Fortune 500 company. Nestle Philippines, Inc. has developed a strategic plan that is centered on resurrecting the coffee industry in the Philippines. The project is designed to create thousands of jobs and many schools, hospitals, and churches throughout the Philippines and Tsunami-affected areas.
