“The Rys Chronicles” have received good reviews since their publication. The Midwest Book Review described the new fantasy series as “An exciting treat for fantasy buffs…” and added that “Author Tracy Falbe makes a stunning debut in epic fantasy.” Of “Union of Renegades: The Rys Chronicles Book I” Crystal Reviews wrote “Most fantasy novels possess similar basic plots that offer a quick read and thrill but not all convey much more. “Union of Renegades” belies that reality…this is a great read with plenty of intrigue, magic, terror, wizardry, spells, and subplots to grip the reader.”

The author, Tracy Falbe, started writing the series in 1997. Like many people who enjoy the fantasy genre, Falbe started reading it as an adolescent. Her tastes began with Tolkien, then Michael Moorcock and Robert E. Howard. The science fiction of Frank Herbert is one of her biggest inspirations. Currently she enjoys reading the work of George R. R. Martin.

Falbe always wanted to create a fiction series of her own and, in her mid-twenties, “The Rys Chronicles” started coming together in her mind. What she finds best about writing is making up characters and striving to give them lives that readers will care about knowing.

Books I and II “Union of Renegades” (ISBN 0-9762235-2-X) and “The Goddess Queen” (ISBN 0-9762235-3-8) are available at http://www.braveluck.com as well as Amazon, BarnesandNoble.com and Booksamillion.com. Falbe offers competitive discounts at her website along with a free ebook download of “Union of Renegades” so that interested readers can check out the series at no cost.
